How about mac? where exactly should i put the samples in? I think i put it in the wrong location. It would ask me to load the samples every time i load SSD.

Thats what it was doing for me! lol
According to the instructions it says:

“7. Finally, copy and paste all NKX files from your download folder into the SAMPLES folder of your Steven Slate Drums library. If you do not see a folder called Samples in your Steven Slate Library folder, create one.
      8. If you are on step 7 and can’t find your Steven Slate Library folder, search in Finder for Steven Slate or SSD to locate it.
Once Installation is complete, run the application SERVICE CENTER to authorize the library. Service Center is most likely located in Applications but it may also be in Applications/Native Instruments.”

Version 4.2 of Kontakt has a number of enhancements to the output section. It includes one option that will clear all output channels and create a different channel for each instrument that is loaded.

Good to know! SSD v4 will have its own player.. and I wanted to have this with the one it comes with in the package.

Thanks for the tutorial. I’m using Kontakt 4 on a Macbook Pro. I don’t have the button “Make Default”. I selected “Save as default multi” under files, removed the FX and re-added it and it open as “New Default” without the new routings. When repeated it and opened the dafault I saved the routings I created were stored but it didn’t rename the outs.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmm.. i think this is a Kontakt issue. The shipped version of SSD 3.5 is Kontakt 3.5 which is what the video was done in. I’m not sure what the issue with K4 is. I’ll see if I can get around to installing the K4 player again to see whats up.
